My dream vacation would be…?

I love traveling, so this is a really hard question to answer! A Euro-trip would be amazing—where I can visit multiple countries and experience different cultures. Ideally, I would stay with local families or in an AirBnb so I could eat home cooked meals and learn something new from the locals.

The strangest gift I ever received was…?

I got a pair of scissors as a high school graduation gift from one of my mother’s friends. I remember thinking that was such an odd gift to give a teenage girl. As it turns out they were one of the BEST gifts I ever received! I still have them—over 20 years later—and they are still as good as the day I got them!

My dream dinner guest is…?

Definitely Sir Paul McCartney! I would love to get firsthand knowledge of what it was like to be one of the creators of a music revolution, what his fondest memories are of his amazing career (that is still going strong today) and to hear how some of his, and of course the Beatles, most legendary songs came to be.

My guilty pleasure/binge watching obsession is…?

Hands down, Grey’s Anatomy. I’ve watched the entire series three times so far! I often have to remind myself that just because I’ve watched the show so much that I am, in fact, NOT a doctor.

My biggest childhood crush was…?

I had two—Tom Hanks (from Bosom Buddies) and Ricky Schroeder. I used to keep their posters in my closet and would hide in there and pretend we had our own secret club.

The craziest fashion fad I ever fell victim to was…

Growing up in the 90’s there were quite a few, but there is one that I remember very vividly. I’m not sure who decided that layering a skirt OVER jeans was fashionable, but for preppy middle school girls it was definitely cool. Looking back at pictures what was I thinking?!? Hopefully that’s one fad that won’t make a comeback!

My greatest travel story is…?

I spent a month studying in Italy. We stayed in a small town in Tuscany during the week and would travel to different cities every weekend. It was great because I knew almost nothing about Italian culture at the start of the trip, but by the end of that month I loved everything about it!
